PROJECT NOTE : I wasn't born there, but I lived in Western Australia for 25 years. I know it and it is important to me and I 'belong' there.
The blue skies and amazing landscapes full of colour are great inspiration.
I love using ochre colours of the land and wanted to create a landscape that was my own personal West Coast, blue skies and white sandy beaches for hundreds of miles.
The viewers perspective is encouraged to float between a ground level and an aerial view, the sea becoming the sky and the sky becoming the sea.
