THE VOID
|
PROJECT NOTE : THE VOID is my personal abstract minimalist representation (painting) of one of the great mysteries of existence, the void.
I took on one of the most complex concepts and distilled it down to a very simple, symbolic image, in order to be able to bring the knowledge of it forth for our times.
The understanding of these concepts has been at the core of humanity's great knowledge seeking journey since humans first awoke from our evolutionary slumber many eons ago.
The void is the place and space where what we understand as the ceaseless universal flux, the collective consciousness, the universal mind or universal energy field and many other terms, eminates from.
The void is the space and place that our sense of mind, thought and that which we call our soul or spirit is a part of and originates from.
The non-void is the reality of visible objects, also known as the material plane of existence, or perhaps the here and now.
The void is the birthplace of all things in the universe, which pour out of it in a boundless flux.
However, only the void is real and all forms in the objective world are illusory, existing merely because of the unceasing flux between the two orders.
It is the constant medium between all of us, the energy field that we are all a part of and connected by.
These are such complex concepts, and they are central to existence itself.
Indeed many other artists and poets have attempted to create artworks that express this wonderous reality over the millenia and this is my personal contribution to that rich tapestry of imagery and knowledge sharing.
The inner black area is the void, from where all originates, the outer coloured region is representative of the non-void or material plane.
